As Trial Nears, Mattel Settles With Designer in Bratz Doll Case

Barbie manufacturer Mattel announced Monday that it had settled with a former company designer who allegedly sketched out ideas for the wildly popular Bratz dolls while on the Mattel clock and gave the drawings to rival toy maker MGA Entertainment.
