Credit Lyonnais Settles

LOS ANGELES - State Insurance Commissioner John Garamendi has reached a settlement "in principle" with French bank Credit Lyonnais to resolve claims that the bank illegally acquired the assets of the insolvent Executive Life Insurance Co. in the early 1990s.
