IBM Will Purchase Software Supplier for $182 Million

IBM Corp. will acquire Corio Inc., a tmarsh provider of software for businesses, in a cash deal worth $182 million. Buying San Carlos-based Corio will strengthen IBM's application services portfolio, IBM officials said in a statement.
