Psychologist Defends Her Research

SAN FRANCISCO - Internationally renowned for her research on memory, psychologist Elizabeth Loftus has never shied away from controversy. Her frequent court appearances as an expert witness testifying in defense of accused child molesters, including the Boston priest convicted last week, have done little to endear her to prosecutors or plaintiffs attorneys.
