'Trouble Makers' Gather for Lunch, Speeches, Awards

The Lawyers' Committee for Civil Rights of the San Francisco Bay Area hosted a luncheon Jan. 25 to give its members a much-deserved pat on the back and to mete out awards to lawyers actively championing for civil rights. Boalt Hall dean Christopher Edley Jr. was the keynote speaker for the event, which touted the works of attorneys handling asylum claims, death penalty cases and voter protection.
