Board of Supervisors Puts Public Defender on Leave

SAN BERNARDINO - The San Bernardino County Board of Supervisors has placed Public Defender John Roth on paid administrative leave over concerns that he tarnished the county's image by hiring an attorney who had served a four-month jail sentence for paying jail inmates to garner clients.
