Malibu Must Pay $35,000 for Frivolous Suit
LOS ANGELES - An appeals court Tuesday ordered the city of Malibu to pay a couple $35,000 in sanctions for filing a "frivolous" suit to stop them from taking legal action to get a permit to build a home.
