Recent State Court Decisions Target Construction Industry

Focus Column - Construction Law - By Laurence P. Lubka - In December, California courts issued opinions that are very important to the construction industry. Among the most important of these is Tesco Controls Inc. v. Monterey Mechanical Co., 2004 DJDAR 14466 (Cal. App. 3rd Dist. Dec. 6, 2004). Another is the state Supreme Court decision in Lewis Jorge Construction Management Inc. v. Pomona Unified School District, 2004 DJDAR 15217 (Cal. Dec. 23, 2004).
