LOS ANGELES - The ex-fiancé and lawyer of billionaire newspaper owner Wendy McCaw must give back most of a $14.9 million arbitration judgment he won when he claimed his girlfriend had reneged on employment payments after the couple broke up, a state appellate court ruled Thursday.
