Rural Judge Retires Rather Than Risking His Removal
SAN FRANCISCO - Seeking to avoid the grim prospect of being removed from the bench for fixing traffic tickets, Yuba County Superior Court Judge David E. Wasilenko submitted his retirement, which became effective Tuesday, the day before the state judicial watchdog agency was scheduled to open hearings into his misconduct charges.
