Bar honors appellate justice
The Riverside County Bar Association installed its 2013 Board of Directors on Sept. 19 at the Mission Inn Hotel & Spa in Riverside. At the installation dinner, the board honored Justice Thomas E. Hollenhorst of the 4th District Court of Appeal with the E. Aurora Hughes Meritorious Award for Service. The award is given to those who demonstrate a commitment to dedicated service to the Riverside County Bar Association. It was established to honor former bar association president E. Aurora Hughes, who battled amyotrophic lateral sclerosis during her presidency and until her death in 2011. — Katie Lucia
