Stockton to unveil bankruptcy blueprint

Plan requires city approval before it's filed with court.

Stockton will make public a draft plan to restructure its debt Friday, according to the city's lead bankruptcy attorney, Marc Levinson of Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP.


Levinson, who spoke before U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Christopher Klein at a Tuesday hearing on the city's bankruptcy case, said it will likely file a plan with the court between Oct. 4 and Oct. 7.
