SEC promotes from within for SF office chief

Jina L. Choi will be the new chief of the Securities and Exchange Commission's San Francisco regional office.

SAN FRANCISCO Jina L. Choi will be the new chief of the Securities and Exchange Commission's regional office here, the market regulatory agency announced last week.


She succeeds Marc J. Fagel, who left to become a securities enforcement and white collar defense partner at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP.
