Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP partner Christopher H. Patay was lead counsel for a pair of food and beverage companies in deals announced last week: the sale of The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf to three private equity investors and the transfer of the majority of El Segundo-based Fresh & Easy Neighborhood Market Inc. stores to Los Angeles-based investment firm The Yucaipa Cos. LLC.
