Judge Blocks Buddha-Booty Share for Lawyer

LOS ANGELES - A Filipino lawyer who claims he took part in a treasure hunt in the Philippines more than 30 years ago is not entitled to any profits from a golden Buddha and boxes of gold bars that a locksmith and others allegedly discovered, a Los Angeles Superior Court judge ruled Friday.
