Howrey estate settlement with malpractice insurer approved
A Northern District bankruptcy judge approved the Howrey LLP estate's $7.6 million settlement with mutual malpractice insurance company Attorney's Liability Assurance Society Ltd. Monday.

A Northern District bankruptcy judge approved the Howrey LLP estate's $7.6 million settlement with mutual malpractice insurance company Attorney's Liability Assurance Society Ltd. Monday.
The deal will fill the estate's coffers by allowing it to cash out its ownership share in the member-owned insurance company while also maintaining its malpractice coverage.
