Wanted: Musician Lawyers, Judges

Los Angeles County Judge Brett C. Klein, an accomplished trumpeter, is among 30 judges and lawyers who have formed LA Lawyers Philharmonic.

LOS ANGELES - By day, lawyers appear before Judge Brett C. Klein in the Los Angeles County Superior Court, presenting their arguments with carefully practiced tone and timing.

But outside of court, Klein may be the one performing for the lawyers. An accomplished trumpeter, Klein, along with about 30 other judges and lawyers, is a member of the newly formed LA Lawyers Philharmonic.
