BERG: Lawyers Hope New Green Efforts Yield Gold

California has a head start on clean technology development because of its ground-breaking 2006 law, AB 32, a comprehensive program of regulatory and market mechanisms to reduce greenhouse gases. Now, with President-elect Barack Obama putting alternative energies at the heart of his effort to reverse the nation's economic blues, lawyers here say the green economy has gone from granola to milk and honey.
