Judge OKs Class Status In Green Card Case
District Judge Marilyn Hall Patel of San Francisco has certified a class action by immigrants nationwide seeking to end green card delays. The suit, Santillan v. Ashcroft , C042686MHP, charges that Department of Homeland Security offices across the country consistently reject and delay lawful permanent residents' requests for documentation of their status.
