Judge Adjusts Award Upward To $54 Million
SANTA ANA - A federal judge has increased a jury award from $43.5 million to $54 million against medical manufacturer U.S. Surgical, after a jury's finding that the company willfully infringed on a patent owned by an Orange County surgical equipment maker.
