LOS ANGELES - The state Supreme Court on Wednesday refused to consider reinstating the convictions of three Rampart police officers who were accused of framing gang members.
Los Angeles District Attorney Steve Cooley, who inherited the case from his predecessor Gil Garcetti, now will have to decide whether to retry the case.
