Groups Push to Register Homeless Voters

LOS ANGELES - The Nov. 2 election may well mark the first time homeless people turn out in force to voice their political opinions. Spurred by irregularities in the Florida 2000 election that improperly excluded black and Latino voters, activists are fanning out to Skid Row areas across the nation to make sure the mostly minority bottom tier of society can vote and get to the polls.
