Judge Keeps Advocate's Suit Alive
LOS ANGELES - Ted Hayes' civil-rights suit against the city of Los Angeles is still alive, for now. At a Wednesday hearing, Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Paul Gutman agreed with an attorney for the city that the complaint filed by Hayes, a longtime homeless activist in court as his own lawyer, was seriously flawed.
