Drop the MBE. I repeat, drop the MBE
The July California bar exam results are not good: Only 48 percent of first-time takers passed, the lowest rate in 10 years. But we're not alone. Might the Multistate Bar Exam be to blame?

The July California bar exam results are not good: For first-time takers, at the state-wide level, only 48 percent passed. This is the lowest bar passage rate in 10 years. The problem, however, is not unique to California. Many other states have also seen a decline in their passage rates. The National Commission of Bar Examiners (NCBE), the entity that creates and owns the Multistate Bar Exam (MBE), an integral part of virtually every state's bar exam, flatly denies there are any problem...
