LOS ANGELES - Legal observers say courts in Los Angeles, New Orleans and in Kentucky appear to be the top candidates to become home to more than 80 federal lawsuits against troubled automaker Toyota Motor Corp., as a U.S. judicial panel on multi-district litigation convenes Thursday to hear motions on whether - and where - to consolidate the cases.
