Hastings Chooses Alumna to Serve as Dean and Chancellor
LOS ANGELES - Nell Jessup Newton has been appointed the new chancellor and dean at Hastings College of the Law in San Francisco. Newton, who will assume the position Aug. 1, comes to the school, her alma mater, from the University of Connecticut School of Law, where she serves as dean.
