Perez Transfers to Tehachapi Prison

LOS ANGELES - Disgraced former Los Angeles police Officer Rafael A. Perez, the key figure in the Rampart police corruption scandal, was transferred early Friday to the California Correctional Institution at Tehachapi, where he was placed in a high-protective security housing area, according to prison authorities.
