New Evidence Won't Delay Nawi Trial

SAN FRANCISCO - In order to keep intact a jury that is threatening to disintegrate and cause a mistrial, San Francisco deputy public defender Michael Burt agreed Thursday to forgo a two-week continuance to prepare to refute 11th-hour testimony in the odd murder trial of Robert Nawi.
