San Bernardino Gains New Presiding Judge
SAN BERNARDINO - Assistant Presiding Judge J. Michael Welch will take over as San Bernardino County's presiding judge in January. Judge Peter Norell has been elected as the new assistant presiding judge.
Welch, 58, will replace Presiding Judge Roberta McPeters, who will resume a seat on the bench, court officials said.
