Pact Preserves Felony Archives Of L.A. County

LOS ANGELES - In a settlement that preserves a library of criminal-case archives, the Los Angeles County district attorney's office Wednesday agreed to keep certain felony case files indefinitely and to pay $99,000 in litigation fees to a group of criminal defense attorneys who fought for years to save the documents.
