Court Overturns Breakup of Microsoft
SAN FRANCISCO - A federal appeals court Thursday threw out the landmark trial judge's order to break up the Microsoft Corp. But the panel also held the software giant violated antitrust laws in defending a monopoly for its Windows computer operating system.
