Attorney General Kamala Harris seeks to block initiative that calls for killing of gays

Attorney General Kamala Harris on Wednesday sought relief from the state judiciary from her office's duty to issue title and summary for a ballot initiative calling for the killing of gay people.

SACRAMENTO - State Attorney General Kamala Harris looked to the judiciary Wednesday for permission to block a ballot initiative calling for gay people to be killed by a bullet to the head "or by any other convenient method" from being put to the public.
