AG's office to appeal judge's decision to bar district attorney from mass murder case

Attorney General Kamala Harris' office added that it would also independently investigate the Orange County district attorney's office after revelations of law enforcement and prosecutorial misconduct.

State Attorney General Kamala Harris said Friday she would appeal an Orange County judge's ruling to disqualify the district attorney from trying the death penalty phase of the worst mass murderer in the region's history.
