Defense counsel in 3D image suit seek removal

Lawyers for Arena3D filed motions to withdraw as counsel over unpaid attorney fees, citing the company's impending Chapter 7 filing.

Attorneys for Arena3D Industrial Illusion LLC, the special effects company being sued for patent infringement over the holographic "resurrection" of Michael Jackson in an ongoing Las Vegas Cirque du Soleil show, sought this week to withdraw as counsel over unpaid fees, referring to an impending bankruptcy filing and intention to liquidate the business.
