Howrey estate settles with 47 former partners
The Howrey LLP estate settled claims against 47 former partners and one law firm. The partners waived more than $6 million in claims they had logged against the estate in order to resolve claims brought by the estate against them.

The Howrey LLP estate settled a variety of claims involving a group of 47 of its former partners and one law firm. The deal, filed late Wednesday, involved a variety of waivers by all sides. The partners waived more than $6 million in claims they had against the estate and paid $75,000 in exchange for the estate dropping some of its claims against them.
