Fewer new lawyers in California in 2014

The falloff in the number of people starting law school appears to be showing up as a decline in the number of new lawyers being admitted in California.

The falloff in the number of people starting law school appears to be showing up as a decline in the number of new lawyers being admitted in California. The State Bar certified 6,726 people for admission in 2014, compared to the 7,008 it approved in 2013, according to new figures from the bar's Committee of Bar Examiners.
