After patent win, Sidense secures $5.5m in fees

A judge awarded Canadian semiconductor company Sidense Corp. and counsel at Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton LLP more than $5.5 million in legal fees after determining that patent holder Kilopass Technology Inc. committed litigation misconduct and brought meritless claims.

A San Francisco federal judge has awarded Canadian semiconductor company Sidense Corp. and counsel at Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton LLP more than $5.5 million in legal fees and costs after determining that patent holder Kilopass Technology Inc. committed litigation misconduct and brought meritless claims.
