Jury Finds Insurers Liable for Cost of Stringfellow Acid Pits Cleanup

RIVERSIDE - A Superior Court jury Monday dealt a blow to seven insurance companies that tried to wiggle out of covering damage caused by toxic overflows from one of the state's most notorious Superfund toxic waste dumps.
