Judge Gives Thieving Plaintiffs Lawyer 14 Years

SAN FRANCISCO - In a cautionary tale for lawyers who steal from their clients, a Russian immigrant who toiled as a farm laborer before he became a successful San Francisco plaintiffs lawyer was sentenced to more than 14 years in prison Tuesday for misusing at least $2 million of client funds.
