Medivation GC leaving company after $14B deal
Andrew K. Powell, general counsel of Medivation Inc., just completed the fifth sale of a biopharmaceutical company in his 25-year career in the industry.

Andrew K. Powell, general counsel of Medivation Inc., said Friday he is retiring from his job as general counsel with the company, which was acquired by Pfizer Inc. last month.
He will stay on with the company for another three weeks to ensure a smooth transition.
