San Francisco Superior Court admits fault in assigning review judge

Review judges are supposed to be assigned by the Chief Justice, and only after five days.

The day after the Judicial Council and San Francisco Superior Court blamed one another for prematurely assigning a review judge to rule in an increasingly controversial case defended by San Francisco Public Defender Jeff Adachi, the court admitted fault Wednesday.
