Bureau Must Revamp Mojave Plan
A federal judge has given the U.S. Bureau of Land Management until 2014 to improve its plan for managing millions of acres in the Mojave Desert. Environmental groups had sued the agency over concerns about rules for off-road vehicles.

SAN FRANCISCO -The U.S. Bureau of Land Management has until March 2014 to revise its plan for managing millions of acres in the Mojave Desert.
The bureau has been criticized for giving too much free rein to off-road vehicles at the expense of natural resources.
