SAN DIEGO - McDermott Will & Emery is pulling up stakes in San Diego and consolidating that legal team with its Orange County office - a move that industry analysts say may be a sign of things to come.
The law firm, with 1,000 lawyers practicing in 16 offices around the world, including Silicon Valley and Los Angeles, intends to close the San Diego office, opened in 2003, by March 31.
