Once a Foreign Problem, Abuse of Journalists Happens Here

Richards - The Committee to Protect Journalists, a watchdog group for global press freedom, monitors injustices brought upon journalists by governments throughout the world. For many years journalists have been unfairly jailed in foreign countries for doing their jobs, and the CPJ has kept the world community informed. Sadly, the New York group now has to look no further than this country's own borders to find similar infractions.
