9th Circuit Will Hear Appeals In Nicaraguans' Pesticide Case

LOS ANGELES - Three years ago, a group of plantation workers won a $489 million judgment against the Dole Food Co., Dow Chemical Co. and Shell Chemical Co. in a Nicaraguan court for health problems they said stemmed from exposure to a carcinogenic pesticide, Nemagon.
