9th Circuit Holds S.D. County Isn't Liable

SAN DIEGO - In an appeal of a civil case alleging that the San Diego County district attorney's office hid blood evidence from the defense in a murder case, the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals has ruled unanimously that the district attorney was acting as a state official, thus relieving the county from any liability for wrongful prosecution.
