Justice Denied

Forum: By Steven L. Harmon On March 17, the Riverside Criminal Courts Bar Association Board of Directors voted unanimously to urge strongly all members of the association to refuse to allow Riverside Superior Court Judge Vilia Sherman to hear any of their cases. This is an unprecedented and extraordinary call for action, and one that needs an explanation of the reasons for, and the regrets accompanying, the decision. As president of the board, I have the responsibility to convey the explanation and the regrets.
