Alumni of the Year Alumni Achievements
UCLA School of Law Alumni Association President George Schiavelli, center, was joined by U.S. District Judge Gary Taylor and and TV producer Barbara Boyle during a luncheon Thursday at the Inter-Continental in downtown Los Angeles. Taylor, who presided over such high-profile cases as the Orange County bankruptcy litigation against Merrill Lynch and other entities, was named the law school's alumnus of the year for public/community service.
