$1 Rights Contract Baffles Woman
SANTA ANA - Irene Gut Opdyke, a woman who sheltered a dozen Jews in the basement of a Nazi officer's home during the Holocaust, did not realize that a contract which Hollywood promoter Alan Boinus gave her to sign would deprive her of the rights to her life story, Opdyke's lawyer, Jeffrey Tidus, told an Orange County jury in closing arguments Wednesday in the trial of Opdyke's lawsuit against Boinus.
