Laches Are Forever, Judge Rules, Awarding MGM Bond Franchise
U.S. District Judge Edward Rafeedie pounded a fatal stake through one of the movie business's longest-lived litigation monsters Friday when he awarded the James Bond film franchise to Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer studios and its production partner Danjaq.
